During the Leadership Team Kick-off Meeting, NBBJ reported on the outcomes of the Core Team Kick-off meeting the previous day. the discussion led to a review of the draft Guiding Principles, aspirations for the new building and obstacles the Team might encounter along the way.

The Team worked through their vision and goals for the new Building and how it will effect care for current and future patients. The Building will be a beacon, one that calls to existing patients with improved access and personalized services, as well as new patients seeking specialized state-of-the-art care.

The Leadership Team worked together through Lean Exercises to discuss wastes in current processes that may be creating barriers to care, and provided input for the Design Criteria and Guiding Principles.
