In November, the NBBJ Team brought Lean Exercises to the Users for the first Kick-off meeting. Users participated in the Lean Coffee exercise which guides participants to think about what is working in their environments currently and they would like to bring to the new Building, while also identifying processes they would prefer to leave behind. They also identified process wastes during the Waste Wall Exercise.

 

It is during these exercises that the importance of having multi-disciplinary representation in the same room helps to start breaking down barriers to providing care. Participants included representatives from:
